Ontario’s regulated online gambling sector achieved a major milestone in its third full year, generating CA$3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the 2024-25 fiscal year. According to data from iGaming Ontario, this represents a 32% increase from the previous year, setting a new benchmark for the province’s iGaming performance. Casino Sector Leads Revenue Surge From April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, Ontario players placed CA$82.7 billion in total wagers, up 31% year-on-year. This impressive growth was fueled primarily by the casino segment, where players wagered CA$69.6 billion, marking a 34% increase compared to 2023-24.
